Week 3

During this week at my field site, I have gotten the leadership opportunity to take a small group of students, about 4 or 5 kids, and work with them on either spelling words or working on writing their numbers. I usually spend most of my time at my field site doing this. Most of the time, we are working on spelling words with the new vowels and compound words that they have learned, but last time I was there I helped them with writing their numbers the correct way. It is so much fun to be able to really teach these kids and see them learn from you and just see them get so excited because they get to work with you. It is a true gift to be in this program.
